The 24 h story...

24 h story.

When I was doing the new 24 h mixtape, I accidently realized that there is a little story behind it, which I would like to share with you.

Basically the 10 songs used in it describe a very busy day.

To start off, nice and sweet sound by Steve Angello and Alex Metric – Open your eyes represents a sunny morning. The first thing you hear is the alarm clock, which gradually turns into a combination of sounds of a new day. You are full of energy.

Then, a tune by The BeatThiefs, called Umbungo reflects the simple morning stuff that you do. Brushing teeth, drinking tea or coffee, choosing the outfit and etc…

The beat becomes faster, as you hurry up to your job, uni or school. You catch a bus, drive a car or just walk quickly to be on time. Expressed by my favorite tune at the moment, which is Black Raw - Eargasm (Daddy's Groove Re-Edit). Time flies at work, school or uni. You see different people, smile, talk and laugh.

After you finish work, you hurry up to catch a bus, a plane or a train, to go somewhere further. Let’s say a start of a vacation or holiday. Classic Miami 2 Ibiza by SHM – excitement. Travelling, new people, new sights.

You walk around the streets or the beach with your friends, or whoever. Your excitement is on top and you can hear it by a pretty hard tune by Tiesto – Come on.

However, closer to the evening you become more and more tired, and, of course, LAZY to a certain extent. This is when a classic Lazy tune remixed by Lazy Rich kicks in. You sit in a hotel, or at friend’s house, or just simply lie on the beach and feel that there is no energy to do anything.

At a certain extent you decide to take a power nap. This is the time when a nice calm Bromance by Avicii begins.

Then you open your eyes again in the late evening. The beat becomes faster in Fedde Le Grand’s Autosave and you can see the shiny lights outside. You can hear the noise of people starting to go out and have a good time. And you are a part of that global gathering. You turn on the music louder.

You arrive in the club and this is the time for the new Tiesto and Hardwell tune Zero 76 to rock the club. The music is loud. People are dancing, everybody is having a good time and you’re enjoying life and music.

Finally, after all best tunes being are played, you start moving towards home. Legs hurt after dancing, but you feel the best. Your reach home, have a chat with your friends and slowly fall asleep to Scaloni & DJ Tatana – Flash…

And it starts all over again…
